Character Profiles

Molly Anne the Clown is the Boss Clown-in-Charge of the Clown House. She was
created in 1989. Her costume is simple, pretty and much like a little girl at a birthday party - mary janes, skirt, blouse and apron. With her primary colors, relateable costume and sweet face, Molly is uniquely "kid-friendly"; especially to very young children who have never encountered clowns before. She is a positive, non-threatening clown character who is versatile for all ages and just about any situation.

Several storybook costumes with walk-around site gags are available for Molly including Little Red Riding Hood, Miss Muffet and Mary Had a Little Lamb.  She is also available as Santa Molly - a festive addition to family events with a holiday twist!

Peppermint the Painter was
created as a secondary character in 1993.  Billed as the sister to Molly Anne, Peppermint is costumed, festive and a welcome addition to any special event where a full, greasepaint clown may not be appropriate.  A more formal attire is available with tuxedo shirt, dress pants and holiday vests.  Peppermint carries her own as a locally recognized personality and adds a comedic spark with magic, face painting and balloons - any time and anywhere.

Forsythia was created as a story-teller character for the NC Zoo's Boo at the Zoo.  Since that time, she has become a Fall festival and Halloween regular in the Triangle as a face painter and balloon artist.  This character can be as sweet or as mischievous as you want her to be!

Mrs. Claus, or Mary Kringle as she prefers, offers a perfect complement to Santa.  When children may be frightened by other holiday characters, Mary works well with apprehensive youngsters by applying her gentle clowning talents.
