Character Profiles

"When I grow up, I want to be just like you!" -Ariel, Age 7

"Clown!  You're 'larious!" -Cameron, Age 4

Molly Anne the Clown is Boss Clown-in-Charge for the Clown House. She was the first character created in 1989. Her costume is simple, pretty and much like a little girl at a birthday party - mary janes, ruffled socks, pantaloons, skirt, blouse and apron. With her primary colors, relatable costume & sweet face, Molly is uniquely "kid-friendly" especially to very young children who have never encountered clowns before. She is a positive, non-threatening clown character who is versatile for all ages and just about any situation.

Peppermint the Painter was created as a secondary character in 1993. Billed as the sister to Molly Anne, Peppermint is costumed, festive and a welcome addition to any special event where a full greasepaint clown may not be appropriate. A more formal attire is available with tuxedo shirt, dress pants & holiday vests. Peppermint carries her own as a locally recognized personality and adds a comedic spark with magic, face painting & balloons - anytime and anywhere.
